The Volta River Authority (VRA) participated in the national clean-up exercise across all its work locations, reaffirming its commitment to environmental stewardship and the promotion of healthier communities.

The exercise brought staff together in support of the nationwide initiative aimed at improving sanitation and creating cleaner surroundings. Through its participation, the Authority demonstrated its dedication to maintaining a clean environment while contributing to the collective effort to enhance public health and community well-being.

Chief Executive Edward E. Obeng-Kenzo commended staff for their active participation, describing their involvement as a demonstration of VRA’s patriotic spirit. He further announced that the Authority would institutionalise the clean-up exercise across all its work locations to ensure it
becomes a sustained part of VRA’s operations.


The Authority also encouraged everyone to play their part in building a cleaner, greener Ghana, stressing that protecting the environment is a shared responsibility.
